I've just started this blog to compliment a small business I've begun creating custom paper based items such as special occasion cards, mini-albums, favors for weddings/special events, birth announcement and invitations. This very small business started with creating special cards for my friends and family and with their encouragement I've begun selling my wares through small businesses such as beauty salons and boutiques. Here's an example of a birthday card I did for a dear friend who loves the fashion vibe of the 20's and 30's.
I expect to post samples of my designs as well as offer hints and helps for designing paper crafts based on my personal experience (read "failures" aka "opportunities.") This site is also for those that might be interested in my work and wish to commission custom pieces for their special occasions.
In any case whether this approach is a success or failure I expect to learn a great deal and hope you will join me at least occasionally on this journey into the "blogosphere!"
Hi - I've been involved in crafting my whole life starting with sewing doll clothes for my Barbie at aged 7. Thankfully I've moved forward since then taking on arts and crafts of all sorts from needlework to painting to rubber stamping/paper crafts. I have to say though that the paper craft area is my favorite - relatively inexpensive, highly creative and best of all as simple or complex as time allows.
